A new start.

My blog has been closed for the past couple of months, however, I've decided to revamp and reopen my blog, just so I can post up my writings and opinions again.

Things will be different this time. There'll be more movie reviews, game reviews, book reviews, even people reviews, where I may just rant the shit out of hapless individuals in the street that just step the hell out of my 9th tail.

Oh yes, perhaps just the brief introductions here other than the itty-bitty shit that's been posted up on the side navigation bar.

Let's just call me xLadYzStaRx or the Lady. I call myself the Lost Guardian of the Stars. Why is that so? Let's just say that I've found my sanctuary at last and I intend to remain lost in this galaxy.

Who am I you may wonder. But let me just say it's none of your business unless of course you know me personally.

I was left to to be desecrated not so long ago in the past. For a period of 4 years I lay wasted, consumed by the Evil I call my past and a person whom I've since forgiven that'll I refer to as the Beast. My life was a turmoil of insufferable childishness from insignificant individuals I refrain from even calling humans and the only refuge I could seek was from the few Angels that came into my miserable half-life then. I sincerely thank them all from the bottom of my heart for easing the pain a little.

The world had been an empty shell for me. A place where I lived life in an eternal masquerade party, skimming upon the grasp of happiness while never really caught in it's warm embrace.

Of course, this page includes snippets of my past in the links I've provided but I've never really elaborated much of my past because of the incessant presence of the Beast.

There were many interesting anecdotes of my past which I may choose to present in the course of this revelation, but I'd like to bask in my newfound happiness for the mo.

With the resurrection of my blog, I would like to begin with thanking the Special one of my life, you know who you are, for giving me the inspiration to start again.

But back to business. Todays topic will be the person of the moment! An individual who has incessantly been trying to crush my tail since I came into his/her life. First there was the insufferable attitude and behaviour, then there was the whinings and grimings, then there was the I'm-Holier-than-thou attitude, and the I-think-I-can-just-step-on-you-all-I-want mode and currently the I'm-being-helpful-just-to-make-myself-look-better mode. No names included but I suppose these are just some of the people you'd meet in life everyday. But mark this, this is a SINGLE person alone. Ah wells, such is the life of an overrated individual who thinks the world owes them a living.

Fuck this kinda shit man. But enough of the complaining. Here's another thing I'd like to share.

How about the recent hullabaloo over the much awaited movie that's spawned thousands of overgrown fans who were bawling away in the 80s when they were kids and now at a ripe old age of 30 and more, flock to the big screen to take on their childhood fantasy of seeing these technological organisms come to life. I quote the little boy sitting in his mommy's car, watching 2 humongous technological monstrosities fighting it out: "OH MOMMY! COOL!"

And that's the cry of probably almost every single overgrown child who's grown up in the 80's watching; yes you've guessed it, TRANSFORMERS!

I was born in the 80s but too young to ever get into the fad of asking my mommy to buy me the nice little red/blue truck. I was introduced to the ERA of the Beast Machines. Yet, during my time, they showed the G1 versions of Transformers as well. Moreover, I'm a female, less chance I'd ever get involved with these little boy toys eh?

At a ripe old age of 22, I get my first taste of the New Age Transformers, what more the UN-animated version. Of course that fuelled my interest in the whole Transformer Saga. But I remain faithful the the Maximals in the Beast Wars Era. My favourite I should say was Cheetor.

Yet, with all these rantings that Transformers 2007 would be THE hit of the year, all the hype about it died down after watching the movie. There were just some things that didn't seem to ring true. Sure I was sitting in the theater going: "Beat the crap outta him! Go! Kill it!" and "WOW, that's COOL!" but there were just some questions eating into me. So is that the continuation of everything that's begun in G1 or is that a whole new introduction of Transformers to the new gen y children? Or?

The movie introduced a few Autobots and Decepticons albeit from their G1 moulds but were audiences supposed to draw the link from the G1 Transformers? I can vaguely remember the beginning of CyberTron and the existence of the Allspark but my kid mind years ago used to question the significance of the Autobots and Decepticons' mindless battles(i.e they quarrel because MegaTron wants to Conquer CyberTron then they go into war, (my favourite part is still their transformation), then they fight and one side loses, blah blah you get the drift.) and I used to think what a mindless series it was. But as the series progressed into its Beast Era, I fell in love with the Hi-tech Biotechnological Maximals having no other Cartoons to see on TV during that time.

So will Bay present the other Autobots and Decepticons as the franchise continues or will we still be left with these loopholes to address?
